The truck is thought to have had brake failure, according to Philip McCain, an eyewitness who talked to Adom News.
Along with towing a few cars, he claimed it collided with more than ten passenger vehicles.
"Many vehicles were destroyed," he continued. "The passengers were also hurt and were taken to the hospital for treatment."
Given the severity of their wounds, Mr. McCain stated that some of the passengers were thought to be dead.
