In a collision that happened on the Kasoa-Malam highway Wednesday morning, about eight passengers including a senior high school student suffered various degrees of injuries. According to eyewitnesses, the driver of the sprinter bus with the license plate GR 6669-13 lost control of the steering wheel when another car merged into his lane in front of him.

The injured passengers were saved by onlookers and swiftly transported to neighboring medical facilities for treatment. The driver of the car engaged in the collision did not have the necessary license to drive the car, according to the police's investigation on the site.


"I was on my way to Madina, but our driver was irresponsible on the road. I don't know what happened, but the automobile somersaulted as soon as another driver changed lanes. It wasn't anything dangerous, but the driver's inexperience led to the car falling, a passenger named Akwesi Acquah told Kofi Adjei of Adom News.

"God is the reason I am still alive because what occurred was terrible. Many persons had severe injuries and were sent directly to the hospital, according to Maame Akua Amoah. Later, as the car was being towed, the driver was taken to the police station.
