In a depressing recording that was made public online, the husband of Ghanaian actress and television star Nana Ama Mcbrown is described as a violent abuser.
An unnamed person was heard accusing Maxwell Mensah, Nana Ama Mcbrown's husband, of causing the second injury to her arm in a WhatsApp audio clip.
The actress who at the time hosted United Showbiz on UTV took time off work to travel to Germany for surgery to correct a defect in one of her arms. "The same hand broke last year when I slipped. "Doctors in Ghana have done their best, but I've noticed that it hasn't healed as I had hoped, so I planned that whenever I get a break, I will travel to treat it," she wrote in the post.

According to the person heard in the released recording, her husband allegedly shoved her off their stairs after having arguments with her, which resulted in the second injury.
He went on to say that Nana Ama was frequently mistreated by her husband, who he characterized as a heavy drug user who also occasionally sniffed cocaine in addition to smoking marijuana. The man in the audio claimed that despite Nana Ama McBrown being aware of his abusive behavior, she yet chose to marry him after stealing him from another woman.
