Hamidu Mubarak ( Born 21st January 2003) is a Dancehall and Afrobeat artist. He is known by his stage name DHE JOY.
EARLY LIFE
Dhe Joy was born in Pusiga, in the Upper East Region of Ghana, on the 21st of January 2003 to Hamidu His father and Safura his Mother. He had his Basic Education at Ghewaa Basic School in the Pusiga District. He continued to Bawku Senior High School, where he had his Senior High Education.
EDUCATION
He received both his BECE and WACCE certificates in the upper east region of Ghana. He attained his BECE certificate at Ghewaa Junior High School in the PusigaDistrict, and attained his WACCE certificate at Bawku Senior High School.
MUSIC CAREER
Dhe Joy started his music career at a young age, doing freestyle covers of songs by Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Stone Bwoy, Jahmiel.
He gained recognition and became relevant in his music career in the year 2023. Dhe Joy performed at Colombia spot and many other grounds. He has numerous tracks of which "Ur Choice" is the current and "Joro" got him the recognition.
ACHIEVEMENT
Dhe Joy Won the Best Afro Beat Song of the Year in 2023 at the Kussaug Talented Awards, which was organized at Garu.
His Songs are on all streaming platforms.
