An internal inquiry has been launched into what transpired after a fight between two Dillard High School teachers that was captured on camera.

Two instructors were captured on camera rolling around on the ground while onlookers shouted, "Stop it!" in a video that was shared on social media.

In an attempt to break up the fight, the woman in the video can be seen laying on top of the teachers who are fighting while wearing a brown skirt.

No one who was involved in the confrontation wanted to press charges, according to Fort Lauderdale police, thus none have been brought. If a police report was made concerning the incident, it was unclear right away.

The Broward Public School District released the following statement: "Two instructors at Dillard 6-12 got into a fight at the end of the school day on Monday, June 5. The problem was safely fixed.

It continued by stating that the "special investigative unit" of the district is looking into it.

Member of the school board Debbi Hixon expressed disappointment in what she observed.

Naturally, Hixon remarked, "We want our teachers to exhibit the behavior we want our children to witness. Therefore, having a fight among teachers, especially on campus, is highly disheartening and improper.

Officials were questioned by CBS News Miami about the fight's origins and whether or not the involved teachers had been suspended. Requests for responses were not promptly fulfilled by officials.
