A 13-year-old girl in the Eastern Region eludes suspected ritual killing

Four unidentified males kidnapped a 13-year-old girl from Aburi-Kitase in the Eastern Region's Akuapem South Municipality, narrowly avoiding a suspected ritual slaughter. Around 8 p.m., the adolescent, who lives close to former President John Agyekum Kufuor's home, vanished while en route to Kitase to buy food.

The kidnappers had reportedly shackled the girl's hands and legs and were getting ready to cut her breast, according to Citi News sources. But when a good Samaritan noticed their actions and fired warning shots, they left the area.

Amankwah urged the Inspector General of Police to increase local security and deal with the growing number of social vices in the vicinity of the Peduase Presidential Lodge. "I've complained about these traffic problems on multiple occasions". All of the streetlights from Ayi Mensah to Peduase Lodge are out of commission. Since boys from Ashiaman, Madina, Nungua, and other surrounding towns come here, we are unable to pinpoint the cause of any incidents of this nature.

"Therefore, I'm begging for sufficient security in the region. The lack of security at Peduase Lodge is regrettable. I implore the IGP and the entire security apparatus to assist us," he said.
